# How to clear cookies from specific sites


You may need to clear cookies from a specific site to log out without having to exit Facebook, for example, Instagram. To do this safely, follow these steps:

## 1. Access the site you want to clear

In our example, we will use Instagram, so the link will be _[www.instagram.com.br](http://www.instagram.com.br)_

## 2. Open the developer tools

Right-click on the page, then click "Inspect"

## 3. In the panel, click "Application"

## 4. Time to clear cookies

On this screen, simply click "Storage," then "Clear site data." This will remove all information related to this site, including cookies and active sessions.
